Privacy

KJ's Games is a small browser games site by Kurtis Justin. You can browse and play without creating an account.

Overview

This page explains how the current version of KJ's Games handles privacy. The site is designed to be lightweight, with playable games running in your browser and analytics only loading if you accept it.

What the site does not currently use

KJ's Games does not currently provide user accounts, process payments, show adverts, host comments, send newsletters, run leaderboards, or provide cloud saves.

Browser-based gameplay

Games run in your browser. Playable game code is loaded only after you press Play, so game pages can be viewed before the game itself is requested. Playing does not currently require an account.

Local browser storage

KJ's Games uses local browser storage for your analytics consent choice. Games may also use browser storage for settings, preferences, local game state, progress, or session state.

This information stays in your browser unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.

Analytics

KJ's Games uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics. If you reject analytics, analytics scripts, page view tracking, and game interaction events should not load.

If accepted, analytics may include page views, Play button clicks, game load success or failure, and broad gameplay events such as starting, restarting, or completing a game or round.

What is not intentionally sent

KJ's Games does not intentionally send hidden answers, raw game state, full error stack traces, seeds, or personal messages to analytics.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted as a static web app. The hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to serve pages and files, such as request logs. This is separate from the optional analytics controlled by the consent banner.

Third-party services

The current public site uses hosting services to deliver pages and static files. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are only loaded after analytics consent is accepted.

The site does not currently add advertising, payment, account, comment, newsletter, or leaderboard services.

Your choices

You can accept or reject analytics from the cookie banner. You can also clear local site data in your browser to remove stored choices, game preferences, local progress, or session state.

Contact

If you have a question about this page, check the Contact page for the current contact status. If a contact form or feedback tool is added later, this policy should be updated to explain what information is submitted and how it is handled.

Future changes

This page may be updated if features such as accounts, contact forms, cloud saves, payments, newsletters, leaderboards, adverts, or broader analytics are added later.

Review note

This is a practical site policy, not legal advice. It should be reviewed before introducing accounts, forms, cloud storage, payments, adverts, newsletters, leaderboards, or broader tracking.
